Overall, a solid place to go for breakfast. They do serve lunch and dinner, but we have not tried that yet. Our server Zoe was fantastic With great energy. There was live entertainment on a Sunday morning, and he was extremely talented. We want to go back for dinner sometime next week because the atmosphere is really special here. Personally, the only negative I did not like the pancake. It seemed to lack a lot of flavor, and the syrup had no flavor as well, but everything else was delicious
I had the best experience this morning. I was greeted by the biggest beautiful smile and warmest welcome by Joey when I walked in. Then Natalie, the barista, was incredibly sweet and helped me with my order. I wasn’t sure what I wanted so she made the perfect suggestion of an Iced Vanilla Honey Latte that was perfection. I also ordered a Cobb Salad to go that came out with a beautiful presentation and tasted amazing! I have to give all of the staff a 10/10 for making my day today! Thank you LJ’s family for consistently being amazing and for the delicious food.
We love Local Johnny’s - always great service and excellent food and a perfect restaurant for any time of day! Cafe on the left, bar on the right and a nice covered patio with misters - you can’t go wrong! Today we had the smoked turkey with bacon and Gouda and it was sooo good! We modified it to be grilled on sourdough and added avocado! Delish! I got the side Caesar and my sister got a side salad with ranch - they make their own ranch and it is awesome!! Must stop and check it out - a trusty local fav!
Lunch was great. The carnitas tacos and the TBG sandwich were excellent. The wedge potatoes were off the chart. Wait staff is friendly and prompt. Definitely our go to in Cave Creek.
Really cute restaurant. Loved all the decorations! The service was great; our waitress was very helpful and friendly. I got their cilantro chicken salad and strawberry no-mojito mocktail. Both were delicious and very fresh. Appreciate they have gluten free options too.
We hosted our wedding welcome party at Local Jonny’s, and it was the perfect place to kick off the celebration! From start to finish, Joey made the planning seamless and fun. She organized a delicious taco bar, arranged great drink specials for our group, and took care of every detail leading up to the event. The night of the party went off without a hitch — the restaurant was well staffed, and everyone was incredibly friendly and attentive. Renting out the space allowed us to play our own music on their excellent Sonos sound system, which added such a personal touch. Our guests raved about the food, drinks, and overall vibe. Highly recommend Local Jonny’s for any large group event or celebration!
After spending a few hours hiking we were starving and in the look out for some where local that was still serving breakfast but also lunch options for the half of us that preferred lunch. We stumbled across Local Jonny’s and the vibe felt right. The parking lot looks small from the front, but there is a good size lot in the back for more space . They offer both inside and outside seating which is a plus. Upon entering there was a sign directing us to a hostess station to dine in. There are two different doors so depending where you come in you may end up at the coffee counter. Right away I was pleased to see they offer Firecreek Coffee which I love and is local to Arizona. It’s a must stop when in Sedona etc. We were greeted pretty quick and taken to our table. It took quite a while for a server to take our drink order or greet us, but we weren’t in too much of a hurry. Once we had our drinks our server disappeared again and we sat and sat. Once she arrived she did apologize at which point we were starving so we hurried and ordered. Our table ordered biscuits and gravy, BLT, eggs bacon and toast and another side of biscuits and gravy with extra sausage on the side. Our food came out fairly quick and was plated well. My eggs were a little overcooked, but ok. My daughter enjoyed her biscuits and gravy and the BLT had a good amount of bacon. It was crispy and delicious. My latte was made perfect as well as the chais my daughter and niece ordered. All in all it was a good stop. The biggest complaint was the service being pretty MIA through out our visit. Although that stinks I also got the vibe that this was a laid back no hurry kinda place. Either way we left full and happy. If you’re impatient you may be less happy.
First time there. Went to see Chuck Hall Band play. They have a real nice outdoor stage with tables and plenty of heaters. Food was good, except the Club. It is not your traditional club sandwich. Service was excellent.
